A non-profit membership corporation registered under the laws of Maryland, USA — dedicated to promoting unity, development, and the traditions of Okeho and her environs across the diaspora.
ODA USA/Canada is built on seven founding principles that guide every initiative, event, and decision the association undertakes.
To promote a family atmosphere and unity among members of the ODA USA/Canada.
To promote the traditions of Okeho and her environs and protect our reputation in the USA/Canada.
To promote the progress and development of Okeho economically, socially, educationally, morally, and politically.
To promote the economic wellbeing of members and their families, and to encourage the love of one another regardless of economic or financial status.
To organize from time to time social and cultural events in line with the rules and regulations of the United States of America.
To preserve and protect the good image of Okeho and her environs.
To liaise with the main organization in Nigeria to identify the problems of Okeho and give collective approach for solutions based on mutual understanding and love.
ODA USA/Canada envisions a society in which all individuals have equitable opportunities to realize their full potential and to participate meaningfully in the building of the Okeho community and her environs.
ODA USA/Canada is committed to the educational advancement of Okeho community members through its Scholarship Award program — chaired by Dr. Lateef Raji.
